For Animal Health Use Only
FENETRIN
Concentrate for Immersion Emulsion
Ectoparasitic (Insecticide, Acaricide)

COMPOSITION
Each 100 mL contains 10.4 g of synthetic pyrethroid fenvalerate.

Application Method | Amount of Medication/Water Used | Parasite

Bathing or First Bath - 1 liter Fenetrin/1000-1500 liters of water | Tick

Pulverization/Renewal - 1 liter Fenetrin/500-800 liters of water | Lice

Manual Washing or 10 ml Fenetrin/10 liters of water | Flies

Spraying

In manual washing applications, 1-2 liters of medicated water are used per animal; care should be taken to ensure that the medicated water reaches the hair follicles throughout the animal's body.

Bathing Intervals: Ticks and worms: In severe infestations, animals are bathed weekly for two to three weeks until the outbreak is controlled. In severe cases of red ear mites, bathing is continued for a longer period.

Lice: One bath is sufficient.

Scabies mites: Bathing should be done twice with a one-week interval.

Flies: While baths designed for ticks provide protection against flies, weekly baths are sufficient, especially for fly control.

SPECIAL CLINICAL INFORMATION AND SPECIFIC WARNINGS FOR TARGET SPECIES: For effective parasitic control, follow the veterinarian's recommendations. It is recommended to treat new animals entering the herd to prevent parasitic infestation.

Care should be taken to prevent the product from getting into the animal's eyes during application.

After application, measures should be taken to prevent animals from entering water sources and licking each other.

Use during pregnancy: No complications have been reported regarding use during pregnancy.

DRUG INTERACTIONS: Organophosphorus compounds slow down or prevent the hydrolysis of pyrethroids, which may increase the toxicity of the drug to mammals. Other pyrethroids increase drug efficacy.

UNDESIRABLE SIDE EFFECTS: Rarely, mild signs of restlessness may be observed in some cattle within 48 hours following drug administration, and very mild skin sensitivities such as redness and itching may occur. Such reactions are reversible and disappear completely after a while. Care should be taken not to exceed the reported dose.

DRUG RESIDUE WARNINGS IN FOOD: Drug Residue Withdrawal Period (DRWP): Cattle raised for meat should not be sent to slaughter during the treatment period and for 7 days after the last drug administration. Cow's milk should not be offered for consumption during the use of the drug and for 8 days (16 milkings) after discontinuation of use.

SYMPTOMS, PRECAUTIONS AND ANTIDOTE IN CASE OF OVERDOSE: Fenvalerate has low toxicity when applied topically. In case of overdose, lethargy, itching, burning sensation, impaired coordination, and paralysis may occur in animals. If an unexpected effect occurs, consult a doctor and apply symptomatic treatment. There is no known antidote.

CONTRAINDICATIONS: Do not administer to animals hypersensitive to the active ingredient or to calves younger than 7 days old. Do not apply by any means other than dripping onto healthy skin (eyes, mouth, etc.).

Dangerous for wild animals, birds, fish, and bees.

GENERAL WARNINGS: Consult a veterinarian before use. Read the leaflet before use.

For animal health use only. Keep out of reach of children.

STORAGE CONDITIONS AND SHELF LIFE: Shelf life is 3 years from the date of manufacture. Store in its cardboard box at 20-25 °C.

PRECAUTIONS FOR THE APPLICATOR AND WARNINGS FOR PHYSICIANS: Use with caution and avoid contact with the medication. Smoking and the consumption of any solid or liquid food should be avoided during application. In case of poisoning with phenetrin, a doctor should be called and this leaflet shown. In case of mild contact, wash with plenty of soapy water. If the medicated water is ingested, gastric lavage with water followed by saline solution is recommended. Aspiration of the drug should be avoided. Symptomatic treatment should be applied.
